Sunday, November 11th -- Holiday Open House from noon to 4:00 p.m. at Main Street Florist. It's our annual celebration to help you get your home ready for the holidays--both Thanksgiving and Christmas! Beautiful trees, home decor items and silk arrangements and wreaths fill our shop for this special day. And, all at a discount! Come help us celebrate the beginning of the holiday season. Refreshments served.

Sunday, November 18th -- Holiday Showcase at the Glades Restaurant from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Join Sherry from the Glades and Debbie from Main Street Florist as they "showcase" their best! Sherry will be offering samplings of wines and cheeses, with all available for purchase. Debbie will be showing beautiful holiday arrangements in both fresh and silk flowers, along with gifts for the holidays. All put together to help you cross names off your gift-giving lists! Sherry will also have all the "makings" to put together your own home party -- fruit trays, meat and cheese trays, vegetable trays, hot appetizers -- all available at the Glades to help make your hectic holiday schedule a little more bearable! So come spend the afternoon with Sherry and Debbie and let them help you with your holidays! Admission is only $5.00.

December 7, 8 and 9 -- 18th Annual Carlinville Christmas Market. Carlinville comes alive for the entire weekend to welcome thousands of visitors each year who come to help our community celebrate the holiday season! Along with our square full of boutiques and shops, the Market offers huge heated tents filled with crafters, entertainment, a quilt show, trolley rides, home tours, tasty treats and much more.
